Project: Base-wide Fire Alarm Upgrade Naval Air Facility El Centro, California

Description: Large design-build fire protection project for the federal government

Role: Project Manager & Prime Contractor

Project Cost: $3.1 million

Design-build of upgraded base-wide fire alarm system.

Incorporation of a PC-based automated monitoring and dispatch system.

Installation of notification and signaling devices

Installation of advanced IR flame detectors for all aircraft hangars.

Project involved management of mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.

Project was completed on budget, as scheduled in June 2004.
